After a successful release with Miki and her single 'Burning Slow', Emily reached out for a lyric video for her upcoming release 'From Now On'.
After a short back and forth and zoom meeting we'd settled on some general ideas for the clip, but nothing too decisive - so I was quite free with the interpretation on this one, and thankfully Emily like them all!

Brief:
The main story should play in a dark room, with a party on going, playing out certain scenes depicted by the lyrics. Fairly sparce on colors. And there should be a window out to a city - one that looks a lot like their single artwork.
And in the bridge they wanted to completely contast what we'd seen and go mildly psychadelic.
For this one I decided to skip most of the sketching phase and just see where the song takes me.
Turns out I added a little addition at the beginning and end with Emily's character on a completely white canvas - sort of depicting what's in her mind.
